Currently working on the following projects:

- the identification of the Portuguese ship wrecked in Oranjemund, Namibia, in the 16th century;

- my PhD thesis, regarding the loss of the Portuguese ship "Correio d'Ázia", at Ningaloo Reef, near Point Cloates, Australia (1816), on behalf of the Western Australia Museum;

- the archival research over the loss of the Portuguese slave ship "Esperança" in the Turks and Caicos (1837) for the Ship of Discoveries/Turks and Caicos National Museum;

- the archival research and search for the Spanish ship "Nuestra Señora del Rosario" wrecked at Tróia, Portugal (1589);

- the survey of a bridge pass, in the north of Portugal, where the French Army of Marshall Soult, overburdened with the ransack of Oporto, suffered heavy casualties in 1809 in a skirmish with Portuguese militia.
